My clients tend to start therapy with goals of working on:

Stress, perfectionism, and burnout
Codependency and Boundaries
People-pleasing and self-abandonment
Complex trauma
Self-worth and Self-esteem
Frequently Asked Questions about Individual Therapy
-
During the first session, we will go over important policies and discuss your goals for therapy. We’ll talk about what’s most pressing in your life and begin to process things.
Over the first several sessions you’ll get a feel for how I work, and if you’re interested in specific therapeutic techniques (such as IFS, somatic therapy, or expressive arts therapy), we will experiment with bringing those into the session.
-
My clients focus on attachment, relational patterns, and trauma so they tend to stay in therapy long term, 12+ months.
-
I meet with clients a minimum of once a week. Some choose to deepen their experience by meeting twice a week.
You also have the option of meeting for 50 minutes or 80 minutes.
