What is Internal Family Systems Therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a compassionate, strengths-based approach to mental health counseling that is based on the idea that we all have multiple parts of ourselves.
For instance, you may have a part of you that is aware of everyone’s emotions, a part that shuts down during conflict, or a part that tries to manage all the things. All are valid.
As an IFS therapist, I help you build relationships with your parts and essentially reparent them.
As an IFS therapist, I can help you…
Break free from old relationship patterns and build secure attachments
Reconnect with your true self
Understand why you people-please and how to stop it
Develop a sense of peace and confidence
Heal past childhood experiences
Feel more connected with others
Become the leader of your own life
