Therapy for People Who Overthink Relationships

As a licensed therapist, I help adults with relationship anxiety, people pleasing behaviors, & complex trauma build secure, healthy connections - while staying true to their authentic self.

Online therapy for individuals in Washington, Kansas, & Missouri

You keep accommodating to keep the relationship

You’re often the one who bends, adjusts, and holds things together.
You worry about disappointing others and second-guess your needs.
People-pleasing may have helped you feel safe once—but now it leaves you anxious, resentful, and disconnected from yourself, especially in romantic relationships.

You can stay connected and stay true to yourself

Therapy can help you stop people-pleasing while still being kind and caring.
You can learn to set boundaries without guilt, trust your inner signals, and feel more secure in relationships.
Instead of shaping yourself around others, you begin to feel grounded in who you are—and relationships start to feel more mutual and steady.

Specialities

Relationship Anxiety

You may feel anxious in close relationships—worrying about being too much, not enough, or about being left if you speak up. I help clients understand the deeper roots of relationship anxiety so connection can feel steadier and less consuming.

People Pleasing & Boundaries

You find yourself saying yes when you mean no, overthinking others’ reactions, or feeling responsible for everyone’s comfort. Therapy can help you set boundaries without guilt and learn how to stay kind and connected without losing yourself.

Self Esteem & Identity

Over time, you may have shaped yourself around others’ needs and lost touch with your own voice, desires, or sense of direction. Therapy offers a space to reconnect with yourself and rebuild self-trust from the inside out.

Attachment & Complex Trauma/ CPTSD

You may be deeply sensitive, emotionally attuned, or impacted by early relationship wounds that still show up today. Using an attachment-based approach, I help clients make sense of these patterns and develop more secure ways of relating.

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation -

it happens in relationship,

with someone who knows how to stay

Hi, I’m Brittany

I offer therapy for people pleasers who struggle with relationship anxiety, self-doubt, and a fear of losing themselves in connection. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and paced to help you feel safe enough to be honest—especially about the parts of you that have learned to stay quiet, agreeable, or overly responsible for others.

My approach is relational and depth-oriented, shaped by attachment, parts work, and somatic ways of listening. We don’t just focus on “better boundaries”—we explore the patterns underneath and help you build self-trust from the inside out. Therapy becomes a place to practice staying connected to yourself while being in relationship with others.
