Frequently Asked Questions

  • I’m an IFS-trained and somatic therapist who specializes in codependency and trauma. I help women shift from self-abandonment to self-loyalty so they can heal attachment wounds, rebuild self-esteem, and finally stop losing themselves in relationships.

  • I work with women who live in Seattle, Washington and Kansas.

We will meet virtually on video. I use a HIPAA-compliant platform for our sessions.

  • 20-Minute Consultation: Free

A conversation to discuss what you’re looking for in therapy, what I offer, and to determine if we’re a good fit. Bring any questions you may have.

    Individual Therapy - 50 Minutes: $220

A full session — enough time to go somewhere real. Most clients start here once a week, and then increase to 50-minutes twice a week to deepen the work.

    Individual Therapy - 80 Minutes: $350

More spaciousness to settle in and breathe. We can talk about heavier topics with enough time to process and ground before closing. Ideal for IFS or expressive arts.

Accepted payment methods include HSA, FSA, credit and debit cards

  • Sessions are held weekly.

Twice a week is available for women who would like to deepen their experience.

  • Your session time is held exclusively for you each week. Sessions are billed whether attended or not — so you can trust that space will always be yours.

If you need to cancel, your session fee becomes a credit toward a rescheduled appointment. I hold rescheduling office hours on Sundays, one to two times per month.

Each client also receives two complimentary cancellations per year — no reschedule necessary, no explanation needed.

  • I am not in-network with insurance. However, you may be able to receive financial reimbursement from your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.

How to find out what your plan covers

Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following:

    1.  Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health Telehealth visits?

    2.  What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I already met?

    3.  What percentage does my plan cover after the deductible?

3a. Is this based on the therapist’s rate or the insurance rate? If based on the insurance rate, what is that? (the code they may need is 90834 and 90837)

    4.  How do I submit an out-of-network claim, and where do I send the paperwork?

To give you a sense of what this can look like: if your out-of-network deductible is $2,000, you’ve already paid $500 toward it, and your plan has a 50/50 coinsurance split based on your therapist’s rate, you would pay out-of-pocket for roughly 6-7 sessions before your insurance begins reimbursing $110 per session — bringing your net cost down to $110 per session.

Please note that every insurance plan is different, and I cannot guarantee that your plan includes this benefit or that your insurer will reimburse you for services.

  • Yes! Though I specialize in working with women, I work with adults of all gender identities. If you’re seeking therapy treatment for codependency and trauma, I’d be glad to connect with you.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
